I'm sure this has been beaten to death. But could somebody please point me to a tutorial on how to make Vasudan speech?
I've got the needed programs already, I just need to know what effects and settings are used.
Thanks in advance.

www.goldwave.com, download the latest version.
Use the mechanize option.
Done.

That's all there is to it?
In another thread I saw that using Microft Sam as the 'voice actor' is a good idea. What proggy lets me input text and have 'Sam' speak it, then lets me save the audio as a .wav or somthing?

Actually, thanks for reminding me. I may have found a way to actually create new untranslated Vasudan speech. If I'm successful I'll post it.

Cool. I would like any and all info available for this, if you don't mind of course.

Well, you'd want to extract the untranslated clip of Vasudan speech from whichever VP it's in, then mix your mechanised voice over the top in order to get an effect just like in the game. But yeah, that's it.

Thanks for the help. :)

How does one make untranslated Vasudan speech anyway?

That's what I'm working on...

One doesn't, basically. We just use the clip in the VP archives. If you want new samples, you need to wait to see if GE's plan works...

Hopefully it will work...
