Does anyone here ever play Jedi Outcast on the net? If yes, please name the server and your player name.

I used to play it a bit, but I was never any good at sabre combat, and couldn't be bothered learning.

Well I still play it online, til the JA comes out. Anyway, Petrarch, I remember you said you were interested in playing when you got your broadband.

EIDT: I see that Jedi Academy Single Player demo came out. It's about 185MBs and downloading now. It will be done in the next 10 mins I think.

It was leaked quite a while ago. Personally not interested because JK2 was boring as hell, completely uninspired level design and just not very fun in singleplayer. Multiplayer wasn't too bad but got pretty old pretty quick.

I was expecting something more like the first Jedi Knight though, and THAT was awesome.

JK2 is the best SW game ever since the beginning of time. This demo kicks ass.

Tie Fighter is the best SW game ever. It's stood the test of time.

Played the demo of JA, and have (or had, borrowed from a friend, but now I've uninstalled it) JK. Both a pretty good, though I don't really like the Star Wars universe.

The JA demo is really good. Customization and everything. The fact that I'm willing to put up with Star Wars in order to play the games is a testament to their quality..

That's right!
I have never played many games online, only FS on PXO, but I have bad experiences about the server's speed, so my mood has gone away from online games.

Very true. JK1's level design was good even with the non-force power levels.

However we learned in JK2 why StarWars ships are so rediculously oversized :) Having to have a massive comm array where each button is part of a huge cube with one icon on it inside of an endless pit really shows that the StarWars space alien people have no damn idea how to build a spaceship :)
