Heres the idea for a new division of Hades-Combine im thinking about.

This is basicaly a place where people can get help from people for their WIP's (works in progress).
How this works:

If someone is to lazy, doesent want to, doesent have the time, cant or doesent want to; do a certain aspect of a new mod then they can post whatever Ideas/Models/textures whatever on the website and if somone stops by the website and see's that he/she wants to complete the unfinished mod or do a small portion of it, then they can and then upload it and i will add it to the original file to basicaly create mods designed by several different people.

I personaly think this is great because it would speed up production of Mods and will also add a little bit of everyones touch. Also i will leave the bits up for some time so more than 1 person can create their take on the ship.

There will be several options that will be decided by the poster (how long it stays up, who can make additions etc...)

so what do you think of my latest farfetched idea? ;)

of course you know that even if you disagree im still making it. :p :p

That's what HLP's FSModding forum is for. ;) Witness the success of the Raynor, for example. :)

while that is true somethings get ignored and forgotten in a forum.

It also gives someone a place to host their stuff tho.

Damn Krackers, you and me are definately on the same wavelength...

4-5 months ago I mentioned about a talent thread to be sticked where people with SKILLZ (ONLY, no extraneous postings, moderators hawk that thread for ads only not requests) could post what they can do and then once they are engaged in a project they edit their ad and put on the bottom under the field of CURENT STATUS: (Unavailable) or (Available) and people could email or IM/ICQ them and get help for their projects either across the board or for limited situations like a single ship that needs turrenting or mapping or whatever the problem is. I thought it was a brilliant idea but noo ne showed any support for it.

Second was a project emprorium where you can get backgrounds, new icons, weapons, ships, ect much like now BUT mainly a ship part yard (noses, main bodies, wings, engines, bridges/cockpits, bays, cargo areas, ect so people with limited modling experience can build their own custom ships out of generic parts like a Mr. potato head but with hundres (if not thousands) of combinations.  I thought this was a NEAT idea...

again not one comment of agreement if I remember correctly.... Meh...

well do you want to help create this? I could definently use some since im doing alot of FS2 stuff and school.

Ohh! Mr potato head equivalent of FS modding, I like it!!

Ive learned from my experiences at hlp that: If you build it they will come, If you sudgest it they will complain.
