Title: Blender and FreeSpace
Post by: HotSnoJ on September 13, 2003, 01:24:26 pm
This topis is aimed mostly at the source coders.

I'm wondering what your thoughts on a modified Blender for FreeSpace. One with a direct POF exporter so we could see and place where all the gun points and docking path, ect. in Blender.

I was talking to another HLP member and he thought a modification of Blender that included some truespace features would be just what modders would like. I however think that we should keep close the blenders interface or have a option about it.

Anyway this thread is to discuss why or why not this would be an exellent idea. What the implications are. For feature suggestion and what will and wil not work.

Flame away :blah:

This would be extremely useful.  It might even encourage new modelers to strike out on their own.

Find us a blender programmer who can do it :)

I think it would be a great idea.
