Title: A new shivan fighter: SF Ladon
Post by: Sigma on September 19, 2003, 11:09:05 am: The SF Ladon is a new shivan heavy fighter similar to the Basilisk.

mesh: Aldo (it is out of his 3rd modeldump)
texturing: me (it has NO UV-mapping)
conversation: me

I'm using it in my campaign so I don't release it at the moment.
What do you think?

BTW by no UV mapping do you mean that it hasn't be wrapped in Lith etc? Cause it obviously has a UV map or you wouldn't have been able to texture it. :D

Yes, your are right. I mean that it hasn't be wrapped in Lith. My mistake :D

(all have a real meaning)

Nice model by the way! Though I personally find it just a tiny bit too 'curvy' but that's just personal taste :)

Funny, I knew it was you who posted that even before I read the poster's name...

As for the fighter: I can't really tell what shape it is. Is it asymmetrical? Where are the gun mounts?

Post by: Trivial Psychic on September 21, 2003, 12:50:57 am: Now that I see that is not asymetrical, I see that it resembles muchly the Tamarian cruiser from early season 5 of Star Trek TNG. Of course, they must have used that design for half a dozen species thoughout the galaxy on that show.
