The thing I like best about this pic is that the ships aren't travelling horizontally with respect to the camera. Not enough non horizontal motion in space renders these days. :)
Of course, this makes me realize that we need a few high-poly versions of the 158th ships for use in renders.

Well, I wouldn't go quite that far, not for a while at least. Exposition was supposed to be just a demo, it still is... sorta. ;)
EDIT: BMP and JPG versions of this render are available on the website at various resolutions :D

No, I'm serious Narol. We should have at least one or two high poly models for renders. I'm not talking insane, over the top stuff like my Mjolnir. I mean something up around 10K polys, so that the segmentation disappears and some of the finer details, like the Acheron's missile pods or the interiors of a thrust nozzle, could be seen. Maybe some reasonably detailed cockpits too.
We could probably use them in cutscenes at some point. ;7
