I got a proble with true space 4. I load texture and put it on my model, but all that does is color the model in one colour instead of texture. Why?? help plz.

You have to apply a UV Map first. The button right beside the Paint buttons is the UV Map. But, to really, REALLY get it right you're going to have to do a lot of per-face UV mapping, which is kind of a pain. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

by the way how to use Cob2fs2 it just throws out when i start( i think i have dos version. )

here here. After the probs I had with the knossos, COB2POF got deleted. I just use PCS to convert, and ModelView POF editor to assign subsystems and whatnot. Oh. And Infested? If you have Truespace 4.3, you should have a handy little tool called TrueView. Make good use of it. (i.e. when turreting capships, helps you make sure everything's in the right order (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) )
