I can't seem to find a way to uninstall Kazaa, because every 30 or so seconds some "P2P Networking Error" happens and I just want to get rid of it. (All I wanted was one song!) So, can anyone help me???
-
Well, I can't help, but I can offer comedic relief for your troubles :) :)

Kazaa is a real pain, but the uninstaller will at least get rid of some of it. Use the windows add/remove programs control panel to get part of it, then run Ad-Aware (preferably as new as possible) to get rid of all of the extra crap that it installs.

Thanks, never thought of add/remove programs (never used it b4):o (there wasn't an uninstaller )

If add/remove works, there was, but it didn't make it obvious where it was. Kazaa floats by being a data miner though, so make sure you clean off all of its spyware too.

Adaware's free version doesn't detect all spyware, it'll leave some behind. Use Spybot(like Adaware, but free with no limits on what it'll detect). Unfortunately, I don't have the URL for their site on hand.

or just check your backround processes and get a firewall, if you don't have one. If your suspicious of any sort of program running in the backround you can search for it on google.

just delete the kazaa folder, and search your hard drive for P2p and delete anything that looks like a p2p program... just don't delete any game files which might have a p2p in them...
