Okay, I know this has been touched on before, but other than going to the hassle of getting webspace, is there any other way to post images ? (truespace objects etc)
I'm with Tiscali where free webspace isn't free, but it is a pain in the butt.
cheers.

Mods and admins can attach things, even if said mods don't moderate the forum they attach something to a post in.

I'm a mod but i can't attach anything, even in the interview forum. Kinda sux.
But I _do_ thinks its abused though... I'd wouldn't suprised if the attachments weren't taking up the majority of the dynamic server's transfer.

Try the new main page. it will let you upload files. ;7 It takes some fooling around to get it working, but you should be able to.

Heh, I can attach, but I have 2 FTP spaces on Telefragged, so I've really no need for it unless I'm out of time, or away from my PC.

You can use Tripod and give your images ".txt" file extensions, then use image source tags as normal. :)
-
um, "tripod" ?
oh, I dom't think I've said "Hi"! yet. So, uh, Hi!
-
Heh, g'day. :)
www.tripod.com
Go and register an account. Once you've done that, upload your jpg files. Then rename them from "image.jpg" to "image.txt". Then use the [ img ] tags as normal.

Cheers. I'll have a pop at it.

People laughed at me when I told them I'd re-aquired one recentley.
(Probotector, Axley and Batman returns for £15 ?

Some of my favourite games of all time are on the SNES. Back when they didn't have to worry about polys, and dynamic 3D facial expressions, all they had was gameplay to worry about... and damn they made it good. ;)
-
Ahhhhh... Super Metroid :D And Super Mario was HUGE, with loads of hidden areas, cos all the memory wasn't being taken up by poly and texture info ;)
I still like my Amstrad 6128 emulator too :)
Flipside :D

*hijacking his own thread*
I hated Metroid.
Probotector kicked it's ass.
-
*ahem* ;) So, did you get to upload something and try it out?
-
dunno know yet. I ain't paying £10 a month or whatever for an account to show a couple of piccys. (I've got half a dozen debits goin' out as it is)
Sayin' that, I could do with opinions as towards my little space ships! (I've been at it like, all day today, and made zilch progress!!)

If you want something uploaded, contact me, I'll ut it on a telefragged server for you.
