Title: Planets
Post by: Falcon on September 26, 2003, 05:07:10 pm
Would it be possible to have planets in game ones that you can fly up to, crash into, take sceenshots, or even see the AI dock in them instead of planets just in the backround?

This would also be good for suns except docking into one:D, and maybe fly into the nebula to!;)

one problem, to make a good sphere, you need a really, really high poly planet, or a really really small moon.

nah, 800 polys is enough, unless you wanna fly low orbit.
then there's that T&L thing that will throw the pb away.

New resolutions would mean the need to make completely new interface art. This has been discussed several times and every time the answer has been no.
