Is there any?
-
Good question.
-
Should you know? :p
-
I have been looking forward to machina terra since I joined the FS2 online community (2000?) It was the campaign that somehow inspired my campaign in pre-pre-progress called fs2 revolution. I would love to know if it has made any progress.

Well, yeah. But if I say or show anything, I'll have to live on the streets next year.
-
That's a bad policy for a project that's accused of being dead.. :doubt:
-
Blame the management.
-
Here's something. :D
Prototype Conversion Matrix undergoing testing in Pluto orbit.

Howsabout something in-game? :D
-
Why not?! :D
A new background and something which seems to be a Darkness-class corvette.

Well... it's better, but you're still not there yet... :p
-
Yes, there is progress. And yes, I am thinking about showing it to you all. Sorry for the lack of public updates, but I just didn't want the story and mods to become commonplace before the campaign is released - I wanted that shock factor, that awe inspiring moment when you see something for the first time - or when you realize that something you thought you'd seen has changed completely and for the better.
But considering the lack of activity here, I'm thinking of releasing some stuff pretty soon.
:)

guys Machina Terra is coming still:)
-
wow, those shots are beautiful.
-
But what is this TFxx faction (TFCv Darkness, TFDx Apocalypse)? What became of the GTVA?
-
That would be kinda spoiling it wouldn't it?
But through my deductive super powers of reasoning, I'd say Terra Federation or Terran something or other... look at the name of it.....
-
Yeah, you're somewhat close there. But there's LOTS of information about it on the MT website, actually, specially under the Fiction section.
Oh, and I'll try to have some stuff uploaded tonight. :)
-
Do not show the Apocalypse. :D
-
I didn't really plan to. Gotta save some surprises, at least.
-
and Styxx don`t spoil too much story

Oh, while we're here, I must say that the fiction and stuff on the site, while old, is incredible, at least by our communities standards. ;) :D
It's fun to go back and read it every once in a while.
-
Lol, yeah, I actually wanted to revise them - there's quite a lot of errors in them that I didn't catch at the time. :p

Oh, that's one of my old ones. Should be defunct by now, it was a terrible job on my part. :p

Ssshhh...!
-
People have bad memories.

Umh. Thats two words.
:ha: :hopping:

In a nutshell, we have completed:
- 99% of the modeling work
- 70% of the texturing work (finding texture people is damn hard - any volunteers?)
- 85% of the model conversion work (can use help here too!)
- 30% of the mission work (dum dee dum)
- 50% of the cutscene work
-
(waiting for my new video card to arrive in an hour or so to finish some work and post the updates)

Which equals 67% of the entire project, if all categories are weighted equally. :sigh: Does this mean we won't see a release until 2005?
-
Just add the storyline work (which is completed) and that average gets a bit better. :D
-
you forgot the 90% done in the "drinking beer" category (which should never be completed)
-
It stays at 90 forever...
-
Let's hope they don't take that into account.
-
Don't start with that that stuff again.
-
It was just one single that! :D

By this, do you mean POF editing?
If you do, I can help with it.
-
You can? Really? Great! If you have ICQ, contact me - my number is on my profile. :)
(be advised that we tend to, erm, push FS2 envelope when it comes to models...)
