Hello,
I'm halfway creating a new fs2 MOD named "Raise of GCA" (temp name until i will find something better), in wich you will play the role of a GCA (Galactic Corporation Alliance) pilot, taking down GTVA and finally putting an advance against shivans.
Features:
12 missions
2 new ships
1 new weapon
Dynamic plot
Resource management
Currently i need a skilled mission designer and a ship modeler.
If someone can help me i would be realy grateful...
-
Oh, i almost forgot:
Contact with Terra will be made...
-
Rise you mean (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif). Sounds good. How does the resource management work?
-
Well, it's simple...
I want to use a dynamic mission tree, so certain objectives in the mission will allow you to use or not more weapons/aircraft and more: for example, if you loose a capital ship in a battle, you will receive less support in the next one and so on...
-
How about calling it the CGA (Colonial Galactic Alliance) instead? Then they can be attacked by the VGA (Vasudan Galactic Alliance), team up with the MCGA (Machiavellian Corporate Government Auditors) and the SVGA (Supercilious Vasudan Gallivanting Anarchists), and crush the EGA (Elitist Gimpy Athiests).
------------------
ZylonBane's opinions do not represent those of the management.
-
Let me guess!!! its a story about a large terran limited liability corporation who wishes to exploit shivans as a labor production factor... Basically the whole idea goes down the drain when the shivans prove to be marginally unproductive. Right in the nick of time, the GTVA government steps in with government intervention offering spending fiscal policy and the galaxy is saved bringing the Galactic domestic product back up to 100 Trillion Space Credits... The end!!!
-
You can also call it civilian revenge!
-
God, it's like GCSE Geography all over again... and I tried so hard to forget *sob*
-
What is the GCSE?
-
It's a military training regime where they dunk you in cold water for 3 hours and then beat you until you can name all the states in order of their total carbon content. General Changs Secondary Education.
-
Oh...
must be a nice place...
-
LMAO
Don't count on it, they've caused grief for more than one generation of kids...
-
Oh...
well, there is still a problem...
I still need a couple of ship modelers or the campaign will never be finished...
-
OH WOW! A game that has the corporation as being the good guy! General Chang? i got promoted again? (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) plot...hmmm, very interesting, but a bit too much for 12 missions dont you think? 24 would be a much better length for something so ambitious.

Well, that is as much as i can handle alone in a reasonable time...
If someone wants to give help i would be really grateful...
I'm not a FRED genius, so alone i can only make the shadow of what this MOD can be... :(

an0n isn't quite right there - it's a set of exams UK kids have to take before they go to college at the age of 16. I hated them :)
