Those shots have the standard FS2 blasts, not the new MT blasts. :D

Yeah. It's a nice effect, but needs a lot of improvement before it can be actually used.

Potential is definitely the word. But there's a lot wrong with the current over-exposure doo-dad thing, including the res-scaling artefacts, and the fact that hardly anyone can run it properly. ;)
But I'm sure Sticks can do something with it.

Dunno about ANIs for beam textures. I'm guessing that's a no. And I've done the beam textures on Photogenics. :)

Here's a pic of the new damage effect - strangely enough, it ends up too bright in-game. Gotta tweak it a bit, probably.

Nope. The animation has a swirly electrical effect, but it's lost with the added brightness. I'm trying to fix it...

You should see this one in motion (and I'll need a modification to the code to allow more beam sections, 5 is too few to get the effects I want...). :D

modifaction of the number of beam sections would be trivial. its just a define. the problem is the code may assume it to be 5 in some places.

If my memory's right, the original release date was somewhen between then and the next ice age. It may have been postponed.

I'm impressed much :eek:!! Favourite electrical effect on screen with Ravana and this (http://www.3dap.com/hlp/staff/sticks/pics/screen16.jpg) really cool effect... how to get it ? :D
BTW. This topic and forum is need to reactivate :). Any news or updates in Machina Terra?
