Title: Got a big problem.

When I try and run freespace 2 it tells me I need to set up my stuff. So I go to setup, and fix everything then I hit okay. However, when I try and hit play it tells me that I still need to configure my video card settings even though I just did. Someone please help!!!

are you using the [V] launcher or the FSO one?

[V]'s does edit the correct registry settings. so it won't work

I dont have open in right now. Do I need to install new drivers for my graphics card? (current is for Win2000 but I have recently installed XP)

hmm this is vanilla.  i don't think its ur graphics card though, its all registry problems

Its also annoying the heck out of me!!!
If someone could post their registry it would be nice. :D

I experienced a similar problem, and registry settings fixed mine too. Maybe someone should post 'official registry settings' wherever the FAQ is, or something...

Yeah, if RT is reading this, maybe there is somethign he can do to the launcher?
