I thought somewhere that someone had already pointed out this bug, but I couldnt find it on bugzilla or searching the forum.
When you enable antialiasing in a nebula mission ships dont have the fog effect on them, they appear in the nebula at long range as solid black. If you guys need a screen shot I can probably make one. If it is a driver issue then I have a Geforce3 with the 45.23 set using DX8 render. I tried using both the force antialiasing in the driver and using the launcher to enable it and they both had the same effect.
If you have already heard about or seen this then sorry in advance. ;)

I believe I have noticed that problem and a similar one. Ships just appear in the nebula once you get a certain distance from them. This just looks wrong.

I fly a little closer and.......

Bang. Out of nowhere LOD 0 of the Deimos appears! It appears as though none of the lower LODs are being rendered in the nebula.

bump. Come on guys. I even went to the trouble of putting up pictures!

I don't have this problem with the newer version of the SCP, so I can't help you.

I guess it really must just be me and Krom who get it. Oddly enough it occured on both the R7200 I used to have and my new R9800. I'll have to try it on another computer and see if it is just my main comp that gets it.

I got it in Vanilla FS2. Haven't played the main camp with Open yet.

Playing it right now with Open. Like the missions have been ported to a new engine.:)

Heh... I'm afraid to try... (Notes his 3dmark score in the 'compare' thread in the Hard light forum)
