I was browsing the sparky.vp and saw some animations that seem to be from a main menu that is vasudan and not terran.
How can that be enabled?
(I also saw lots of concept drawings in there, many of those ships were made real in inferno, cool:yes: )

Play through the campaign.
You get reassigned to a vasudan ship.
This is proof that you have not completed FS2. Heathen. Fear. Me.

Aha...:doubt:
Well, I spoiled that for myself.

Wow, a newbie who actually hasn´t played through FS2 yet?
Deen, welcome to the HLP. Don´t let DC scare you too much. His roar is bigger than his bite. :)
I think you´ll enjoy the rest of the campaign (but I ain´t gonna spoil the rest of it for ya). ;7
Enjoy! :D

Indeed, the Vasudan missions are some of my favourites. Stay away from the Serapis, though, if you're flying on Insane... you'll be taken down by the first pair of Harpoon missiles they chuck at you. :D

not if you dodge them :D

yeah serapis sucks, i was sick of reconfiguring my ship in every mission

'Tis all about the Horus and the Seth. Except the Seth loses its sensors every time your crash. But that just adds to the challenge

That right there is a man after my own heart... :D

no, the Sekmeth bomber, the best Vasudan ship there is.
-
I'm playing on medium for first time. Gotten to the mission where I fly bombers and need to block NTF ships that come through the node.
I like the mission in the nebula where the moloch jumps in and attacks the GTD Aquataine. After 3 failures I finally disabled the molochs wearpons and got him down to 3% before he ran away into subsbace :)
the kid looks kinda happy:D

To DC: Evo is better!
To Kasperl: Sekhmat is their best bomber, yes, but nothing beats the Seth or Horus in a firefight.
To Deen: Rebel Intercept! Best multi-level ever! I forget, is the Sekhmat available in the singleplayer version? No,right?

Don't know. I have 2 fundamental problems:
1: My system cannot handle it when I point my HUD at a capship.
2: Whenever I try to get into a game online, Good old Dad tells me to disconenct the modem from my PC and put it on his... Never fails. *Wishes his router wasn't fried* *Curses the blackout that fux0red it ip*

don't know about the missions, but listening to that bloody Admirals synthetic (translated) voice started to do my head in.
Had to turn my speakers off and just read the briefing.

*channels Kahfre's spirit*
What's wrong with my speech pattern. I have to talk like this or the Translator thinks I'm ordering scrambled eggs.

It's soooo true! I much preferred the FS1 translator. In FS2, it sounds like the translator is choking on peanut butter. If such a thing is possible for a synthetic voice simulation... :p
-
What's the deal with that, anyway? Suddenly during reconstruction they switched to a cheaper brand of translators?
-
I always preferred the FS2 translators to the FS1 translators...:nervous:
The FS2 ones just seemed more authentic to me, for some reason. *shrugs*
