Did you kill the guy in the elysium?
-
First time? Nope.
....After that, to see what would happen... :p
-
I did, and was thouroughly shocked when Command grinded my ass about it. Nowadays, I just immediatly start attacking my "wingmates" when the thing jumps in...
-
I did. I thought it was one of those tests where you have to take part in certain activities in order to maintain your covert status - a not unusual situation for an undercover agent. I too was taken aback at the debriefing.
-
The first time I did, same reason as goober.
The second time I tried running away from them, you know, put some distance between us... Didn't help...
-
First time I didn't destroy it, but when I played the campaign over I did to see what would happen.
-
Nope because the GTVA is based on the Beta Aquilae convention and that says no civilians may be hurt in military ops.
Ahh, seriously though I didn`t not all because of the BA convention and me being an upstanding pilot. I didn`t because as soon as Snipes was reassigned I got suspicous and thought "Even if I take it out they`ll blow me to kingdom come.... Nope I`m not gonna toast civilians, sat back and nodded when they went red...
Kicked their ass though, suckers.
"Sorry you wont recive you`re med..." heh heh die asshole.

can i start betraying people now that i've been honest for a week? :p
-
I didn’t know what to do when the thing jumped in. I ended up staring at it too long and my wingmen turned on me.
-
I just kinda fly in circles around it, deciding what I was gonna do, then they shot at me :(
-
I did, but I thought i was supposed to.
-
i did lol
Now i just let the sentry guns take out a wingman before destroying the rest before they turn red! so command asks me whose side im on etc
-
I did the first time, and felt pretty bad... then I wasn't very happy that my "wingmen" shot at me anyway... so I restarted and did it right, killed my wing before they could even "test" me. Never got chastised by Command... may have to go check that out sometime. ;)
-
Rather scary how many people followed orders without questioning them.
I didn't blow up the transport of course. When my wingmen started threatening me I simply looped round and sat behind one of them waiting for them to change sides. (although I did later try it to see what would happen).
It was similar in the first mission of the loop. I didn't shoot down any of the vasudans cause I missed Snipe's message that they were renagades so I avoided shooting them and concentrated on the asteroids.
Then again I'm the sort of person who says sorry to the innocent bystanders I run over when playing GTA III :D
-
I kinda have a morbid sense of humor.... so when they gave me the order to kill civilians i thought "kill civilians? Pfffft.... hell no". Then a few seconds later i said aloud "DIE!!!!!" and blew the transport to hell :D . I laughed when command scolded me.

I did hesitate... but... but... Oh there's no excuse...
-
i didn't kill the civilians, i just said: "o crap, they found out" i circeled the transport and destoyed my "wingmates"
but it is indeed scary to see how many people say "yes sir" and kill 500 people.
-
Never fired a shot at the civvies. When I got the order, I pulled back and sent about a dozen tempests up Alpha 2's... exhaust.
Excellent firefight, and it shut that irritating little git up real good.
-
I thought I was supposed to kill anyone with a red IFF signature. Oops.:p;7
-
I don't hurt civilians. They deserve to live. They are not stupid warring humans and Vasudans.
I shoot down the civilians once, when I was flying minutes around the transport(without anything happening), and it seemed I ran into a bug. I blew them up, and I was told to do not do that again in the debriefing.
-
no. because I'm a good person.
-
I thought I was supposed to, and completely surprised when Command got PO'd about it.
-
No, I didn´t kill the transport because as soon as I found out that Snipes had been reassigned, I was immediately suspicious.
The scripting of this mission seemed so similar to one in Tie Fighter when you have to clear a minefiled in an unshielded TIE Interceptor: "Ok, Alpha 1, you go put yourself in unecessary danger and your two wingmates will assassinate you if you don´t die in the line of duty like you´re supposed to..." Yeah, like hell, ugly.
I never did bother with killing the transport to find out what would happen...but if I just get chewed out by Command, then I guess I wasn´t missing much. *shrugs*
-
I....couldn't.....do.....it!
I sat with the thing in my sites for about 10 seconds, but just could not open fire.
There, I admitted it, I feel better now :)
Flipside :D
-
I tried another way... I pressed `-Shift-I and made it inveunerable (after activating cheats) and opened fire on it... Technically, i was trying to kill it, but knew nothing would happen... Then i found myself out of misiles when they shot at me, so i died, but then did it again...
-
being a man of no morals, I did. of course. I even replayed it to kill it again a couple of times.
then I just started killing my "friends". only one left when they got hostile on me...
-
After a minute of moralising I pressed the trigger...and regreted the decission!
The second time I left my wingment attack the gun platforms alone (after I thinned their shields a bit:D)
that left only 2 left when the Ely jumps in!
Nowdays I enjoy a challenge, so I let all of them live, so I can kill all of them 8not the platforms)
