The Sci-Fi channel is making a remake or whatever. Sorry I don't have more specifics, I just saw the preview on TV ;)

Not if your a purist anyways.

I'll be watching it when it comes to SPACE channel.  See what its like...it may be good on its own thats a possibility.

And nothing is as bad as Battlestar season 2 :)

erh...they switched the gender of some of the lead characters:wtf: i can tolerate some 'artistic license' but when they screw around with the cast,etc like that.. :doubt:

The guys who made it for Sci-Fi have already said that it you are a BSG purist that you are not going to like the remake.

That said it looks really cool.  They took out that whole "aliens created the Cylons" backstory and changed it to "Humans made the Cylons".  Also there's more than one type of Cylon, that blonde they keep showing is not Cassiopeia.

Overall, it looks like its going to be a good re-interpretation of the original idea.

I personally am intrigued by the idea that Starbuck and Apollo have a 'history'.;7
