Title: Random/OT/Halo
Post by: Hippo on October 10, 2003, 09:01:26 pm: Heres the rundown: My friend and I run a Halo (Xbox) Multiplayer squad of 6 members. Details are here. (http://home.comcast.net/~mattisafari1/wsb/html/view.cgi-home.html-.html) As two of you know, I go to school in a town other then where i live, and commute daily... Well, I got us our first squad vs squad match, scheduled for tomorrow... Well anyway, regardless of this matches outcome (even though my school rep is partialy sitting on it, as well as my wallet), we will probably be scheduling matches for anyone else involved in a squad... If you know a squad, or know friends who play halo online, see if you can group them together and we'll play...

Just so you know, this wasn't actually my writing to put here, but the squad itself asked me to pimp us around...

Don't email the squad directly, but post here with anything...

EDIT: there is some (verry little actually) offensive language, and technically according to microsoft, noone under 17 should go there, but nobody istens to them...

its great, but you need a high end PC to run it.
I get hiccups on my machine on 800x600 with most of the effects turned off...

and i am still getting bugged by a an acces denied message everytime i run halo.exe
i only got around it by downloading the no cd crack....

I was about to say the same thing - along with Jedi Academy, Halo's on my short list for games to buy in Summer.

Post by: Drew on October 11, 2003, 12:45:28 pm: you need at least 256megs to run it well fortunatly Halo PC dosnt soak up ram that bad cuz of its amazing HT&L. So you will need an uber-GPU for it to look nice
anything below a radeon 9k and it will look bad...

(BTW does anyone wanna start an HLP squad? :D)

Post by: Hippo on October 11, 2003, 08:35:09 pm: well, I was just with the squad, but the match was cancelled when we lost power... we checked the mail, and mattis copy of HPC came in, so we spent the afternoon (after the ower came back) playing it... Just imagine flying a banshee at blood gulch... it was AWESOME...
