Trashman :D
Since I don`t have an ego to bruise, and I found out I wasen`t entirely right i`ll come clean with a poorly made statment I made in your post titled: DOTA Pirate Assualt Transport (for download) about a week or two ago. I found this out by trial and error..

My statement about the rotational axis for the turrets were not correct, the turret base is in fact set to the Z axis, as for the turret arms I checked an official volition model the (Orion) and the turret arms are set to the Y axis, but what puzzeles me is that a paticular model that i`m working on the barrels rotate oddly reguardless whether set to X or Y axis.
On occassions my mouth gets ahead of my brain, so i`m sorry if I caused you any confusion, and will make an extra effort not to repeat this in the future..

Now that thats out of the way, i`ve got a question for any modder here who can answer or helpppppp.

Question:  why in blue blazes is this being such a headache, could it be a bug with the model or am I overlooking something..

Comments are truly welcome, am I just nutty or .. :lol:

I almost can promise that the turret has its axis in the wrong place.  If it's rotating like it's on a 500 foot arm or flying off the ship, that's the problem.  This can only be fixed if the source model is fixed and reconverted.

I`m not a modler i`ll try to explain it as best as possible.

If the turret arms are facing straight up in the normal position, instead of of dropping downward side-by-side  to fire at a target straight ahead the arms rotate to the sideways in an over-under affect..

Thanks for the imput guys, it seems this is something I cannot correct, with my knowledge, I found truespace to be unforgiving, the only thing i`ve got working in game was a cube :nervous:

Well I keep trying, hell someday it may all make sence, but not today :D

As I recall I made that turret like all others...and thye all rotate normally, but maby I did screw this one...
Bah...the Pirate Assault Trasnport will be re-textured anyway and if there's any error I'll fix it then!:D

Thanks dude, and don`t worry about the station with issues, gave me something to play with to kind of break the waters sorta speak. Hey look at it this way i`ll already be prepared for the new pof :D
