This is the EFS Birmingham, flagship of the Federation fleet, from Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Since I've never seen Stardust Memory, and also was working from a tiny line-art image of the ship, I took the opportunity to create my own skins (which basically amounts to making a white box with a black line outline and doing a "fit to faces texture). Most detail with the least work, and also I'm very, very bad at making textures.
The paint scheme is based heavily on the White Base from the original Mobile Suit Gundam ... lots of primary colors, although I muted the shocking white from the original ship to a more muted grayish-tan. I also have an Imperial army Rising Sun on the front. Don't ask why.
This is one of my favorite works so far, because despite how many times I've screwed it up, it's still one of the cleanest and simplest meshes I've ever made.
Comments, constructive crits?

put that ingame, and use bob's cell shader :)
btw, Bob, that would be cool if the cell shader was a fred feature, a box to check in the mission properties, for exemple ( oh and I'd like to know if you have more plans for that cell shader thing, if that doesn't bother you, f course )

Having seen 0083, I'd like to take this oportunity to congratulate you on a job very well done.

That's not a cell shader, though; I just use MS Paint for making textures ;)

It's more than that, Bobboau has modified the Source Code Project exe file so that it can do the anime-style cell shading in Freespace, that model would look good with it :) Not sure if it works in HT&L though ;)
Flipside :)
