Ok here go some more ships
The Phaeton, one of the new GTVA(terran) destroyers... this one is made to be fast and destroy any capital ship that stands in its way... this version is just a WIP (just about 2500 polys...), but I wanna know if you like the general design... also, on this one you can make suggestions for changes cause I might go along with it...

EDIT: uh... right, wait a bit, I gotta see what's wrong with it... I just got ftp serving from NW and dunno how to work with it...
-
You're hosting Kung Fu fighting on your site? :wtf: ;) (I'd remove my username and password from that post above if I were you!)
Anyway, teh ship, I like it! :)
-
I dunno how to post pics in ftp.... HELP!!!

You need to link to thier actual site address - e.g. www.domainname.dom/username/filename.ext (or something similar)
-
This is odd, using the address that SHOULD work (assuming Raven2001 is your account name) I get a 404. (not only that there's a missing 404 doc. :nervous:
-
I'm trying in various ways too... help me out here
-
does the filename contain spaces? HTML really doesn't like that.
-
yes it does... wait a bit...
-
HTML can handle spaces, vB code however... dunno
What I don't get is why the site won't come up. I've tried various possible account names based on your ftp posting yet still can't get in in http.
-
nop... even without the spaces...
-
That's annoying; I'm sure its a cool ship based on your other Sol designs. Lets get this resolved, shall we?
-
I'd love too...
and the ship has few of the Sol designs... its GTVA
-
Until you get hosting resolved, here's your ship on display...
P.S. Don't ever say I'm not kind ;)
-
I was drawing that it was Sol because of the filename, but hey. Where's the :jaw: when you need it? Looking great Raven!
-
thx vyper
btw how did you do???
-
Remember how I mentioned about not posting your username and password? Well when you first posted I couldn't resist going in to find those piccies and see what this ship was actually like. I had to download them to see them (I only took 2). I've uploaded them to my own account at swooh right now. :)
-
ohhhhhhhh you naughty boy ;)
When you mentioned Kung Fu I thought WTF is talking about... it turns out you stepped in Turnsky's files...
-
 Oh dear....
-
got it... looks like some more stuff needed to be added to the link... well ppl, it was a nice trip, but I think I should restart the thread...~
Can any moderator delete this one?? Cause it is useless...
Stratt, Vyper, thanks a lot :)
-
Ahem, looks like things are progressing?
-
uh???
-
Never mind, posted that one before you posted that you were abandoning this thread.
-
looks like a hecate, but more rounded
-
I agree. And from what I can see in the pic, that big circular thing on the bottom looks hokey, try to do something with it ;)
-
Take off the front fins... the Hecate resemblance is a little too strong. Removing them would take the focus off the fins so we could appreciate the rest of the ship's form.
-
The engine pods on the bottom don't halp seperate it from the Aquitaine either...
-
If you're going for the Hecate MK2 look, which it seems you are, your other model (see other thread) seems better suited to the role.
Nevertheless, a sweet ship that also follows GTVA design doctrine, which is somrthing very rare indeed.
*pats Raven on the back*

niiiiceee:)
-
Is it right side up? What happens if you flip it over?
-
if you want to submit any feedback, go to the "after a long trip..." topic... this one I will not consult...
