Title: Quick Reply and Email Notification

I've had a number of threads recently to which I haven't gotten email notification of replies, and I'm wondering if it is because of replying to said threads via the quick reply box and not the regular reply page. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Well with my problem I was subscribed to the topic either by using "Post Reply" or manually subscribing.

On the note of site difficulties, actually... I ought to make an announcement about people uploading mods (people submit the mod without uploading any files).

hey.. HLP's been overhauled... so it's not really surprising that there's a few little bugs here and there.. :nod:

Well, the 'bugs' have been pretty much ironed out, actually - there's really only one or two things still going wrong that immediately come to mind, and they're negligible. What's really going wrong is that people submit their mods, and they forget to attach the mods themselves. Like the GTFr Demeter (http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~freespace/hlp/item_show.php?itm=260), for example.

"The Demeter is a bulk freighter from Aldo's 3rd modeldump, converted by Woomeister. The cargo pods are actually part of the model as destroyable subobjects. Sounds like a great mod, huh? But if you want to download it, you can't, because I didn't upload it! Ha!" :ha:

Well okay, GE didn't actually submit that as the text, but I would have. :p

Description: doesn't work at all. even tried reformatting HD and reinstalling Windows. the Emperor's new 'Demeter' really isn't all that great... :p
