Interesting stuff. The capital ships really look like they belong in Freelancer instead of Freespace, but that's not to say they aren't cool.

Your DXFs have a lot of problems with their normals, though. I might try to whip up some quick renders here and post them, for those of us who can't open DXFs.

Everybody should be able to open DXFs though, even if we can't do anything with them.

Those are nice, but you're RAR file has got some header problems you might want to recompile.

What do I think... you've definitely got yourself a personal style, which is great. :nod: You've certainly got the makings for a complete fleet here.

Some of these, textured, would make good FS fighters, too. In particular the Icarus, Alecto, Indivia, and Chiron; they're well suited for Terran design.

The Frey, meanwhile, looks like it could make a great Ancient heavy assault fighter. (Any more Ancient fighters are good in my book; they only have the Kato right now.)

I like the intakes on your Ursa.

And these are the models your throwing away!?!?

Its funny i see the Icarus as next gen apollo, the Indivia as in the Herc line and the Orc possibly (with tweaking) as the next perseus(sp?)

I really like the Dekla, the Cerunnos and the Vanir - all very cool models.  Shame I can't do anything with 'em... :(

I know some would prefer more modern looking maps, but I like the classic Ursa look.

Actually the reason there wasn't more Ancient fighters is I good never make decent maps for them :p

Prety much OT but...

GE - I don;t suppose you're finished tweaking my Ursa2 map are oyu? I'd really like to get it finished... :)

BTW, awesome models Raven - I may have a look at texturing a few of the smaller ones some time in the near future.

The model GTCV Ceres.3ds in the textured models folder. Slightly bigger than the Deimos, 28 turrets.

Although the Ceres is nifty looking, I am more interested in those turrets Woomeister.  I don't recall them being on the Phobos before.

Glad you are doing something with those models :)

Some of the designs will be used by me in the future probably... only better and more detailed of course :) . The Icarus, Taphius, Calypso and the Phobos probably...
