Title: Small announcement
Post by: Inquisitor on October 22, 2003, 10:54:30 pm
For the next several weeks (till about Dec 1st), I will be largely unavailable.

In the interim, Goober is "da man" when it comes to the SCP.

I will be back, but, I have some deadlines i have to make, and some products I have to ship.

To quote the Governor of California, I will be back ;)

Seriously, my game company is shipping it's first game, Dark Horizons: Lore, around the first of December, so, rather than do a half assed job of caretaking here, I am turning over the keys to Goober. He's been tech lead or months now (in action, not necessarily in title) and has a cool head, a sharp mind, and he knows this code.

Be nice to him :)

I will still be checking in, I just wanted to make sure that the project got the love it needed. Wish me luck :)

But there are so many SCP guys here, why only Goober? Others can inform us how difficult our ideas are to be implemented.

See ya :)

As for "why Goober" because someone has to have the final say in things while i am occupied, and he's been doing a great job as tech lead the whole time anyway, seemed natural ;)
