When I added my species to the species_defs.tbl table, PhReAk's texturemapped skysphere build and redmenace's CVS build began giving me an "error parsing sounds.tbl" error messages on startup, even if I use the original sounds.tbl. No matter how many times I click OK, the errors won't go away. Older builds, such as PhReAk's Inferno build, work perfectly. What the hell is going on? Did you guys change the sound code or something?

there are a lot of species related sound things, Kaz probly just overlooked one or two, don't be too upset, you have to understand that he is realy unraveling one hell of a spageti ball with his species thing, if he doesn't respond indicating that he has seen this and is on it in a day or to contact him via PM or something.

I got it working. Had to add flyby sounds to the tables.

Why are you so abusive, Woolie? Kazan finally does something wonderful that we've all been anticipating and you get all caustic because you forgot something.
Try asking for help, instead of demanding to know why the hell it doesn't work.

The "expletives" part was a joke.:p

You may think you were just joking, Woolie, but you weren't funny in any way. Rudeness is never funny, just rude. Learn that lesson soon, and it will be the better for you.

Indeed. Guys, we're doing this on our own time, and for free. You can yell at us when you start sending us money. In the meantime, knock it off.
