There haven't been any new posts for 40 minutes. I think that's a record. :nervous:
*Waits patiently at his computer for an answer*
-
It's pretty early in the morning; most people are probably either asleep, at school/work or doing math like me. :D
By the way, does that daylight saving time thing take effect today? I never understood the point of that, other than to confuse people...
-
back from kicking peoples (work);)
-
I am here.
-
Well with DG being temp-banned, there's no spam for me to compete with, and so very little for people to respond to.
-
Temp-banned??
-
moo
-
******, I believe. Daylight savings is so people can be awake during sensible hours, light-wise. Essentially, it's something that doesn't apply to most here. :p
EDIT: whoa, G__tse is censored!

*waits for DG to return from tempbanland*
-
Who's DG?
Anyway, I haven't been around that much this past week because of midterms. I have a midterm tomorrow which I haven't really studied for. Integral calculus at 8am on a monday, not my idea of fun. The reason why I haven't been studying for it is because I got sick and didn't really feel like it.
-
DG=Diamondgeezer
for my self there will be times in near future when i am lot's away from HLP
-
I am permantly drunk.
-
Hey! Now that's an accomplishment!

I got some discrete maths coming up. not that I'm actually studying. at least not what I'm supposed to study.

Well, if daylight saving didn't kick in, you would wake up after there many hours of sunlight had passed - you'd miss all that without daylight saving. :)
-
solution to it all: adjust the time to between summer and winter time.
-
what's that daylight saving thing?
Kode, we switched to winter time just yesterday :) ( cool, sleeping one more hour :D )
-
So now that we've got the winter time, can we just stick with it?
I'm damned if I'm losing an hour of sleep next spring.
-

I know, we did the same thing.
-
Bah, we changed to summer time... I lost an hour, right in the middle of exams too. :p :D
-
Well, come next spring I'm not changing. So I'll be an hour out of sync, but I don't care.
Who's with me?
-
I'm gonna change half an hour forward next spring. that keeps me almost in sync all year.
-
Now that is actually a bloody good idea.
-
I knew that at least once my father was working the nightshift the day you had to change the time back one hour. so basically, he had to work that extra hour for free.

Problem with that is that you'll be half an hour early or half an hour late for months. If you decide to compensate by leaving half an hour early to catch trains, buses, meetings, then you'll be effectively running on everyone else's time anyway. :p
-
*yawn*
...Sleep is good...
...ugh...I have school in...*looks at clock*...17 mins...16 mins...damn...there is only 2 good things about school...LOTF (Lord Of The Flies, it's a good twisted/gory book)...and my girlfriend :D...
15 mins...ugh...
...I'll be up for a game or two of Starcraft/Broodwar tonight, if anyone wants to play then...
...school now...ugh...
...first class...math...ugh...although it's financial math, which is sorta cool....and I'm pretty good at it, got an 80% average (which is highly uncommon with me)...
*falls asleep on the keyboard*
....ZZZZzzzzzzzzz......
-
I'm here... now, and time to times.

heh, almost happened to me, I was done at 11PM. The hour changed happened at 12PM, wich jumped the hour back to 11. The dude who made the time shift worked one more hour, but I doubt he was not paid for it.

yes, so that's why we all must do it. eventually everyone will do it, and we can all take the credit for it.
-
Sounds good to me.
Solidarity.

I see... well, I promise you, if HLP ever achieves global domination, we will be the first to ratify Kode Time. :p
