my little brother wants to make a wooden model of DS9, and i seem to have volunteered to design some plans. so, i need a fairly low poly model of the station, so i can easily view it, and perhaps slice it into pieces to make.
does anyone have a model handy? any format is accepted, but truespace is preferred.
edit:
after looking a bit better at some pictures, designing DS9 is perhaps a bit hard, so i would be rather happy with a Defiant too.

Buy DS9: The Fallen and rip the model(s) outta it.

*brainwave*
i'll try that with starship creator, i have it lying around somewhere, i think.
but i remember it having less-then-great models, so i wouldn't mind something from the web.

Just a thought, but seeing as a blueprint can be printed out and taped to a piece of wood...
Wouldn't a blueprint be a little more helpful? (http://www.gilsostartrekschematics.co.uk/bprintlinks/fed/ds9/ds9.html)

there is a very good DS9 model kit and defiant, I once had a defiant model, modifyed it so it had lights and stuff, then it sort of broke

Lemme guess, you tried to fit it with working pulse-phasers and the last thing you saw was a tiny plastic Sisko standing on the exposed bridge shouting "All hands, abandon ship!" as Dax's clothes melted off?
