I've made a change to the initialisation of D3D and would like to deal with any problems now rather than on an official build.
I was hoping you guys could check it loads up OK into a mission in D3D and try and see if there is a speed difference at all, please dont use htl flag for anything you report. And if you have any feedback please mention your gfx card type.

Will try it soon. Have to finish Dls first...

Whoops, posted this in the other thread... I'll paste it here.
Using your latest build it looks great!
I haven't noticed any of the problems that have previously been mentioned been mentioned.
I'm running a GF3 with the 52.16 dets for your information.
Great work!
Cheers!

I just tried it out and it seems to be about the same as before; that is, still very slow (compared to how it used to be or currently is on OGL) when lots of ships are on screen. I am also using a GF3 with the 52.16 drivers. There were no bugs I noticed however, so that's a good thing.

We are working on the speed thing.
Thanks for testing the code.
