I have a pof version, but I'm still optimizing and editting it. What do you think so far? It's not meant to be exactly the same, so don't say it's not the same. :p

I don't see why the front view's so square. It's a cool design but the front profile seems out of place.
EDIT: And Raa, can you make a good fighter map?

For some reason, the front view makes me think of a bird. I'm not quite sure why.

yea, like I said, play with the top/front/bottom a bit, so it doesn't look so much like a rectangle. :)

Already changed.
It's at 327 polies, and I can even whack off more, without any detail loss. :)
Gonna put uns on the wings maybe...

Edit: yes, the bottom one does show a part of one wing that's not the same as the other, but I fixed it. :p

I'm no good with detailed models... I'm rther surprised at how well this came out. Besides, it'll be too fast for high detail to be seen, so it'll be unesessary. :)

In the temporary line, in what year is developed this ship?

It's meant to be a fighter, and a fast fighter. If you only want this for in-game, don't bother with the additional detail. At least, not yet. ;)

This, some other designs from Veritech, and modern fighters are a godsend for TV war.

Editted, with slightly more detail. 450 something polies, but it's heavily triangulated. I can, and will knock it down to less. :)

I think it might be a good idea to keep fighters moderately low poly anyway, as Raa points out, it's going too fast to be able to see anyway, and besides, the less polies we use for the small fast ships, the more polys we have to play with for the bigger, slower ships.
Looks good that fighter Raa, kind of like the outcome of a confused evening between a Mara and a Perseus, which adds up to an interceptor from Hell ;)

Sorry, I missed this...
Dunno. I can say, perhaps, it's a ship from the FS-2 era, used as a planetary atmospheric defense vessel, but also can enter space for a limited amount of time?
If that made sense...
