The year is 4022--Over 1,500 years have passed since the three Great Wars of 2335, 2367, and 2393 tore the galaxy asunder. The Shivans are long gone and believed extinct. Humanity and Vasudankind rule the galaxy, which is split among the Savaran Imperial Alliance, Microsol Consortium, Republic of Erigone, Earth Federation, and Parliamentary Vasudan Empire. Alliances have been forged, boundaries have been drawn, and wars have been fought on a colossal scale, but none approached the dire struggles against the Shivans in the 24th century. But now a new threat has emerged to our species. During the exploration of a massive subspace anomaly called the Stargate, a new species, the Zica were discovered. An ancient civilization older even than the Ancients, they left the galaxy milennia ago, leaving behind bizarre alien weapons with mechanisms beyond our comprehension and unbelievable firepower and bizarre "tunnel worlds" that seem to defy their own gravity--tunnels lead into the cores of these worlds and crisscross all through the interior, with some mechanism keeping them from being crushed. But now the Zica have returned, and massive armadas of huge ships are pounding through our fleets. Their goal: xenocide. The major factions are splintering, with rebel groups like the Border Systems Coalition and the ancient Vasudan cult Hammer of Light popping up all over the galaxy. The Fourth Great War has begun.

Don't call it the stargate. No one will take you seriously if you do.
-
Congratulations, there is now absolutely nothing in your mod that we haven't seen.

seriously....:blah:

I have some tricks up my sleeve...:drevil:
(this stuff is backstory--the actual plot won't be revealed until you play it)

For someone who has amassed 1200 posts in 6 months, you really don't seem to get what it takes to put together a solid campaign Woolie. Go ahead, work on your own stuff. But it'd go over a lot better if you'd write most of the campaign first and then pimp it. Especially since you don't seem to be interested in recruiting.

Recruitment is easier said than done, with everyone already working on something. Hopefully the Mac and Linux ports, combined with a slew of upcoming releases, will bring some more modders over here. The last time I tried recruiting I got zero results.

Let me guess, the asguard are going to make an appearance flying reskinned Hercs?
Seriously dude, plan this out first and try to use original stuff. Nobody will play this if we've already seen everything. MAYBE I'd play it if it had a kickass storyline, but this storyline isn't very original to say the least.
:doubt:
pot in a nutshell: You don't work your ass off, nobody cares about your campaign.

Last I heard, that's actually DOTA.
:nervous:

Yeah, there are no "asguard" or Hercs in Starforce.
-
Is Starforce dead? :shaking:
-
It's bad form to dig up long dead topics Qwer, if starforce were alive and well there would have been posts about it more recently.
-
Wow, 2 years & 2 months... that's gotta be a record...
-
wait wait wait, 3rd great war, where that one came from??? inferno???

Well, I suppose it is a legitimate question posted in the correct thread. With Search gone kaput and all, I wouldn't blame him too much. :)

It's a better practice to open a new thread and post a link to this one instead of bringing this one back from its grave.
Anyway I'm locking it now.

O RLY? :nervous:

I think your key is broken Kara.
