well, consider I started the model for the standard fs2 engine... unfourtunately there where no z-buffer enhancements nor HT&L when I started, so I had to make a lot of compromises to reduce pcount and avoid z-buffer errors....If I'll have time, I will probably build an overdetailed mesh in future.
btw we are talking of about 1300 polys/2700 triangles.
I think I'll triangulize it afterall...I don't have the time to stabilize the mesh (althought almost done), and the pcount will remain well within the HT&L limits.

the correlian gun boats are nothing to joke about either. in groups of 2 or 3 they are extremly leathal

So you say you have 1 more model after this for the basic release? So how are the missions comming then, and when is the supposed due date for the basic release?

No, he meant that there was one more maodel almost finished for the release. While the shipset is prety certian, It is unsure of a release date.

actually we have more than one ship left, at least two (cal cruiser and ISD, both in progress), maybe more

btw, I already finished one week ago, I just have to tweak some things a bit, but I'm stuck with other things actually (like an high poly mc80 mesh)
