FS Dev Studio rendering two pofs :D

I wrote and entire new POF Render pipeline (that caches geometry) from scratch today... :D

One suggestion - in PCS, I can't Tab between boxes. And that's a bit annoying. So... you know.

Now if only Bobbaou would share his spec and glowmapping coding, and integreate it, this'd be even better. (Maybe he can have it be a plugin? Can you do plugins? Am I asking?)

but are we talking about converting/editing pofs and hacking tables in a single tool? that's cool!
I have a suggestion about pcs that I don't know if it will be possible (I think no, but...): many people (like venom or aldo) use other modelling tools than TS, and are bothered by having to use TS for hierachy. Now, if the new PCS could convert single individual objects even when not grouped with a light, and if there would be an internal hierachy editor, with the possibility to import into a pof other objects, a lot of people will be able to convert ships even without Truespace.
I mean that I may convert from 3ds to cob using a program such 3dexploration, convert to pof all the subobjects individually, group them in fs studiodev, and finally edit the hierachy. The two main problems I can see are that 1- i think you will have to rebuild the pofdata after each import operation, and 2- you will probably loose al the autogen possibilities

Table hacking, pof editing, vp creation, etc
i can enable editing the hierachy by enabling editing the parent index - and after that individual SOBJ import = easy
you just dont get any autogen

almost 100% chance it'll work i nix -- i writing it completely in wxWindows and OpenGL
