Title: Gfx card related settings error
Post by: aldo_14 on November 08, 2003, 01:37:14 pm
Em.... it's not been a major issue sofar, but every time I open up the screen properties and try to get to the Gfx card settings

(settings->adanced-?Nvidia GeForce 5600)

I get an error along the lines of 'catastrophic failure' (once a different one) , and have no options displayed onscreen.  I think this is only since installing the new Drivers, though I'm not sure.  It's kind of annoying as I want to fiddle about with anti-aliasing settings and soforth.

Any ideas what is causing it?

Obviously you should uninstall nvidia drivers, reboot and reinstall the drivers. I suggest you use DriverCleaner which can be found over at DriverHeaven. Use google if you don't know the url.
