my humble result was this:

i think it looks kinda kewl. Obviosly some you ppl have a little more experience than i do and maybe you could give me some pointers eh? Iv used PS for a while but iv never gone much far past as tinkering with it...........

well, umm, if you were just trying to stick the images together, then...you succeded. there's really not much more to say.

You need better tools.
PSP or Photoshop.
First has shareware version and is said to be handier.
The later is all powerfull.
Use layers - the blends will show you what they are....
That's my 0.02$

Indeed. :)
Dude, is that Halo 1 or 2? It's got depth-of-field, which is in H2, but the corner says just Halo...
-
It's H2.
-
Well, this would have been a lot more interesting had you managed to not do it right..
-
uhh well sticking images together is something that i do not know how to do in photoshop ... bellive it or not :) i do it in PSP :)
-
Am I the only person to notice the back to front writing at the bottom of the image? That really needs taking care of :)
Stick the big Halo sign over the top of it :D
-
God us ur brains! I used Photoshop! Theres alot of blending and layering in there ;P
btw, if anyone can tell me how to uhh "fade" or blend the two images togther without that hard "line" that would help me tremendosly......

Strykefucius say: He who say one does not need tools, already has them.
You try running five years on software last released for Windows 95 and then tell me it's all about skill.
Anyway. Looks okay. Nothing complex, but then image editing shouldn't be anything complex. You didn't screw it up in any dramatic function, and the composition's pretty nice the second time around now that you've gotten that damn title out of the middle of the ****ing image. Now try simulating that cool half-wireframe effect with the model.:D

Er, I meant like the character model in wireframe mode. Hadn't even noticed the Banshee. But anyway...

Thought so. Damn, I don't know how they manage that level of detail on an XBox.

But I thought the assault rifle was different in Halo2. It looks like a spuced-up Halo shot to me. Plus, Master Chief is not bump mapped.
-
yes assault rifle is diffrent and that one looks more H1 than H2
