Ugh. So it ends up exactly as I predicted.

Anyway, graphics are nice but I think the protagonists are pretty ugly. That guy reminds me of Zidane from FFIX. *shiver*

Greaves are boots, usually associated with some types of european armor.

For those who haven't bothered to read the little english that is there this is a pamplet about Final Finatasy 12 that HIG is sharing with those of us not fortunate enough to work at Square Enix or be at the Tokyo Game Show.

Gloriano, it occurs to me that you're in an excellent position to tell us if Advent Children rocks as much as the tiny bit of it we've seen stateside indicates.  Would you?  Can you?  Pretty Please?

By the way, it might help if you posted translations while you're at it. The screens aren't substantial and that girl doesn't keep the attention too long. :p Though there isn't that much to be gleaned off of the text anyway.

A greave is the "shin guard" of medieval armour. It protects the leg from between the knee and the foot. It does NOT need to be articulated!

I'm sorry, but this little detail has just ruined final fantasy for me. Couldn't they at least spend some time researching armour? Puh-leaze! :rolleyes:

Thats what bothers me about japanese ads. To much text and pictures you have to turn it sideways to read alot of it.

There were also some enlarged versions of the pics in the magazine shot, the new "map interface" thingy looks useful. Apparently there's a health/mp/status meter on the screen at all times.

no actually...

either way thats stil alot of info considering a U.S. vers. would prob have FF ## anda line of text and maybe a release date.

other than that there is the thin strip of copyrights at the bottom but u can barely see those, so in comparison that ad has alot of text.
