what's your opinion of this expansion?... i rather enjoyed it, the variety of missions was pretty cool... and the new content was very nice to add...
-
I like real Zero Hour better. Those little plasti-rubber guys with the trains and towers and helicopters and ****.
They were like D&D for cool people.

Don't care, I want Tiberian Twilight, not some Generals addon :doubt:

Too ****ing right. Try as I might I just don't get on with the RA style CnC. I'm just going to wait patiently for Tiberian Twilight... though I suppose I may be here for some time...

I love Zero Hour...so much fun. I partcularly like the AirForce general...although lasers is cool and turtling can be interesting with EMP patriots.
Single player was fun but the new units and abilities and the Generals challenge make this expansion pack really cool.
-
I really could not get in to generals. I am too used to RA2 style, that it just was no fun....
-
can you still play RA1 online?
-
No, but you can do dial up from your computer to your friends! That is about the only game my spare 160 MHZ computer can do!
-
uh i don't have a dial-up modem anymore
-
As much as I loved CnC, I'd be afraid to play another Tiberian game after TS. :blah:
Generals was.. well.. too realistic.
-
Too realistic...in a hollywood kind of way? It was way over the top if you ask me and fun that way too!
-
"Realistic". Heh. Cute.
They did a pretty job of what they did, but 'tweren't exactly hard strat, or an accurate portrayal. What exactly was supposed to be real about it anyway? "Realistic" games don't sell for ****, at least not since Close Combat.
-
I found the concept of propaganda towers healing troops to be a total riot, myself. :D
"Go, be healed, for Chairman Mao and the Revolution!"
-
that was a little far fetched, especially when it came to tanks. i would imagine them shooting faster and being able to take more punishment
-
I liked Zero Hour a bit more than Generals, though that's more to do with the fact that it's the game that Generals was supposed to be.
-
Realistic = America being blatently the strongest side (not just a little in-balance)
