Title: What the hell? (Enterprise thingy)
Post by: an0n on November 22, 2003, 06:18:23 am
Watch 39 minutes and 20 seconds into Similitude.

All I have to say is: EH?!

****, if that's all it takes to get the girl, dose me up and scoop out my brains.

Heh, the trick is you have to be a clone. Clones get all the girls :)

Hey, it's enterprise. It's made by two guys who say the trekkies are going to get,

from watching it.

I stopped watching after season 1.

Well, unless you're some kind of homo, I suggest you start watching again. T'Pol is turning out to be quite the little whore.

In the space of 3 episodes she's spent like 20 years 'getting closer' with Archer and 10 days fraternising with a clone of the engineering blokey.

If I want to see whores, I'll watch some movies starring people whose names sound like yoghurt flavours.

If I watch sci-fi, I want to see some intelligent drama shiznit.

Add Brandon Braga, Rick Berman, and T'pol's chest and you have Enterprise, and there you go.

All that aside, the new writers are much better and Season 3 has the show getting on a much better footing.  The last few have been quite good...and I think people are more than a little squemish about a sci-fi show having a bit of skin.  The Series Premier was over the top...but they haven't done as much of that since.

Every other show gets to do it, with more more vulgarity and frequency but as soon as Enterprise does it its just not cool anymore or its shunned or whatever.  No I understand, we want good writing too....and we're starting to get that, some well paced episodes and some serious consequences for everything.

Twilight in particular was good.

Leave the sci-fi whores alone! EVERY show has at least ONE whore (it's the formula, even if it is for daytime television also: Hero, Villian, Good Girl, and WHORE!) LOL Like on Days of Our Lives, or Farscape. (Chana is such a sexy whore!)

IMHO there are only 2 things wrong with any Star Trek show (and they both start with a B) :hopping:

I'm glad T'pol is letting the humans "rub off" on her a little  , she needed to lighten up.  At lest she did it faster than spock did (and he was half human and it took nearly 5 years to get "hell no admiral" outta him) :p

Hahaha...reading your posts are damn funny!

Okay. I agree that T'Pol is easing up to the humans on Enterprise faster than Spock. Resigning her commission and refusing to go back to Vulcan is already one Human trait: defiance. (Well, maybe)

I dare say that T'Pol is more flexible than other Vulcans. Except the ones she met earlier in Episode 2. Those who refuse to follow the teachings of some great Vulcan teacher.

I've never been that interested in Star Trek anyway. As for the drama part, I kinda gave up on that after A Night In Sickbay. And mostly, I haven't seen anything done on Enterprise, that I haven't seen done elsewhere, better.

Brandon Braga and Rick Berman.

Star Dragon is, apparently, a TOS purist.

I agree with you however, my new statement to that is "Stop bull****ting and start watching", because Season 3 of Enterprise, for me, has currently been better than Season 1/2 combined and probably all of Voyager - I really like the new direction of the show, the tension, the continuity, and character development - AND involving storylines. Ok, it's got problems, but compared with the last two years - HAH. The positive reviews for Season 3 and steady ratings also prove that. Don't judge a show before you've got all the facts. It's like watching Babylon 5 Season 1 and saying "Lost interest, load of crap" - Little would that viewer know the next four years would lead up to one of the greatest Sci-Fi creations of all time amongst the tops.

I like how Archer is all "Well, Earth will be destroyed if we don't complete our mission, so scoop out that aliens brains and kill all it's fluffy little children".

I have to agree that Enterprise has come a long way.  I used to watch Season 1 but Season 2 didn't quite captivate me.  Now, Season 3 has to be the best so far.

I really think it's refreshing to see Archer being a bad ass and being completely committed to his mission, whether or not moral or ethics issues are being trampled.  I was getting tired of seeing all these shows or other star trek shows where they can't step on some sort of directive or blah blah blah.  If it wasn't for Archer being such a hard ass, I don't think I would watch the show as much.

Oh, and to say something more on topic.  I thought it was a little wierd that T'pol actually hooked up so quickly with the engineer.  U see it thru the episodes that they're definitely getting closer, but I didn't think she would be impulsive and kiss the clone being a vulcan or whatever.  Does that mean she fell in love with the clone or is in love w/ the engineer but since she can't be w/ the engineer she's gotta indulge in a copy?

I think I pee'd on myself again, so complicated...

2 episodes before, she had gotten much closer to Archer when he got that virus in his brain and had to care for him for like 20 years.   She, during the course of the episodes, had been falling for that engineer.  But since Archer saved her life and at the same time inflicted with memory loss, she felt obligated to care for him.  During that caring, it's natural for her to fall for her patient.  Obviously concentrating on caring for Archer, she couldn't seriously consider being with anyone else (like the engineer).

Anyway, I don't know why I bothered to write all that *shrug*  Weren't any of you guys dissapointed that she sucked as a captain?

Actually, T'Pol would not make a good captain because of Vulcan logic. Sometimes, I believe a captain has to be illogical to survive.

I think T'Pol may have some feelings for Tucker but suppresses it. Then when the clone reveals that the real Tucker has feelings for her as well, she releases all that suppressed feelings by kissing the clone. And since the clone is going to die in that operation anyway, nobody will be around to tell anyone about her feelings for Tucker.

Ask yourself if you did something like that too. If the scenerio happened to you.

I know I would kiss the clone of a girl I liked very much because I  don't want to let the girl know and if the clone was going to die soon. Evil huh?

or you could just tell the girl since the clone likes you which means the girl will most likely like you and you could live happily for the next nine months or so.

That's a rather implicative time-frame, KT.

But I agree. If the clone gets wet, the real one will and you might as well make the best of it and have a threesome before the clone goes all wrinkly......unless you're into that sorta thing.
