Well as of late my second Freespace 2 disk has been acting up on me and today I decided to start looking for a nice new or used box of Freespace 2.
The DVD Edition of Freespace 2 is avaiable...for 120 bucks! The cheapest copy of Freespace 2 that I can find is 54.95. Sheesh, someone needs to make some more Freespace 2 boxes.
I wonder how I'm gonna get to play Freespace 2 again...
-
Maybe i could make some cash selling my DVD edition of FS2. I never really play it anymore.

HOTU....
FS FTP....
....?
-
What Flaser said. Go to the Gen. FS section and look for FTP.

If you can't get to the FS2 product listing then you should NOT be on the internet! So don't ***** at me (I can't find it) if this link doesn't work. I stated 5 times how to manually find cheap RETAIL verisons of the non-retail disks my company burned last month (I work in a cd/dvd burining/packaging plant in the US
NOTE: you have to order from within the US... Sorry.
http://www.schoolpop.com/cgi/product_search.cgi?prodcat=0&search_terms=freespace%202
If the above link doesn't work you do two things.
type this in the address bar www.schoolpop.com then when at home page do noting but this. go to the product search blank box int he top middle of that page and type Freespace 2 (with the space between the word and the number 2!).
there is a chaeper merchant on tha tsite also BUT if you can't find the $29.95 J&w merchant then you sure as hell can't find the guy selling htem for $19.95 so don't even bother! :P

naaaa, the expensive ones are only the "mint" items... there's a lot of auctions like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3061021292&category=41067
where you can "BUY IT NOW" for $4.99 :)

Why don't you guys and gals make backups of your FS1/2 CD's? That can save you a lot of trouble.
-
Because they don't work. Possible it has something to do with the gigantic ****ing hole in my third CD, but they don't run proper.

I probably should, the paper sleeve from my FS2 copy is starting to take a toll on CD1. I still don't get why Interplay put them into those in that paper sleeve setup.

What do they care what happens to the CDs after you've paid for them? Paper's cheap.

Once you do get to play FS2 again, will you finish AoB?
