Title: Resolution problem
Post by: moddy on December 02, 2003, 04:24:21 pm
Since I installed FS 2 SRC (newest build 3.5.5), I can't play Freespace in 1024x768x32 bit anymore. It isn't limited to the D3D8 mode, but to all of the graphic modes.

My system:
Athlon 1 Ghz
Geforce 4 Ti 4200 (Abit)
256 MB Ram
Win XP
Dx 9.0b

Nvidia Driver 42.xx

Sorry, dont quite understand, are you saying 32 bit modes dont work?

Are they not listed in the launcher or do they fail when you run the exe?

What version of the launcher R U using?

Well, I can't play the high resolution modi, although I don't know what the problem is.
They just don't appear in the Launcher anymore. (It's the newest Launcher 2.4)

Should still work though, have you got your hi res pack (for the original retail game) installed? Theres a greyed out checkbox at the bottom of the video tab that tells you if it thinks its installed.

But trying a new launcher first would be easier, link in my sig I believe.
