Cause he's a horny bastard who thinks he way sexier than he really is, and he thinks the lack of pants attracts the ladeez.

Bear in mind, he's the Duck Dodgers of the Futurama universe.

Zoidberg on the other hand, while suffering from near terminal lonliness, is nigh-unkillable(he survived his own autopsy) and actually quite personable.

Zap Brannigan is "The skirt-wearing skirt-chaser"  But it's actually cuz the military in the future apparently don't wear pants.  All the soldiers they show are wearing skirts.

Anyway, we're really derailing this thread.  It's about the model.  I'd really like to see that model finished :)

Well Zapp Brannigan is supposed to remind you of Kirk. He's the Kirk archetype with all the good bits taken out and all the bad bits taken to extremes.
