Is HT&L supposed to render spec. lighting?
I looked at that high poly Galaxy class and saw it was all nice and shiny; i was like hey... mine dosnt do that...
its really annoying to play HT&L with vanilla FS2 graphics...
If HT&L is supposed to render shines, my radeon 9k aint....
help me out here plz

Yep, HT&L should do specular lighting fine.

It doesn't do it on mine :(

Radeon 9k is the problem... from what I see, no cards lower than a 9600 support it. It works for Bob, because he's got a 9800... :doubt:

Well, I'm running a GeForce MX440, and they work, I thought they had stopped and realised I'd put in GE's shinemaps when I tried it with one of my own models ;) The effect does seem slightly weaker in HT&L but not much.

I have a 9k too....and it used to work. Then it suddenly stopped....

huph.. coders, surely you can get ht&l to work on our piddly little 9k's
or i could just ask for a new one for Christmas :D

itl be helpful to note that HT&L dosnt work with OGL either.
