Anyone have a complete download listing of the Descent Manager Tools...the website over there is as good as dead it seems...at least as far as downloads go. We need to make sure all those invaluable mod tools are still around.
-
I'd be happy to. :)

[color=cc9900]Alternatively, if you don't want to use fileplanet (and let's face it, who does), then there's this:

remember that there were more tools than only the ones in the freespace kit.
-
For example?
-
For example, neither ModelView nor AniBuilder are included in the standard kit.

Broken downloads. Thus the thread.
ANI and ModelView are essential tools by my books. We have those as well?
-
I posted them just to give the list of all the tools.
btw...
I just tryed to download some random files (acani, pofdview, anibuilder, fsview, aniview), and all the downloads worked fine.
maybe the downloads have just been restored (a good chance to backup them...)
-
and the version of modelview they have is almost useless, try this, with the limits bumped, from vasudan admiral: http://www.geocities.com/vasudanad/modviw32.zip

If you ask me, the DMTool which can be found here(at HLP) are still very good. I only updated my PCS and ModelView. PCS because it WAS unstable at me, and ModelView because it has an easy-to-use POF editor.
Does a new ModelView exist, which can edit dockpoints and thrusters?

Ok...that is good...and Stealth seems to have the majority of those tools! Good good!
Checking Descent Network again, the tools appear to be back. But they weren't this morning. Bizzar!
