Title: Do You Get Spam?

Please post the address that your spam seems to be coming from - what's listed in the "From:" field.

Tips:

Microsoft Outlook Express

• Turn off the Preview Pane before opening a spam message: View menu, select "Layout...", and unselect the "Show Preview Pane" checkbox. Alternatively, right-click on the toolbar, choose "Customize...", and add the "Preview" button to the list of "Current toolbar buttons". That way you get a toolbar button that lets you select an email (such as spam) without having to view it as well. Useful for viewing the source, which avoids informing the spammer that their email was read if they used a back-linking image, or to see if you received a virus without opening the email, or just to delete an email without opening it.
• Right-click on the email, choose "Properties", "Details" tab, and copy the content of the "From: ...." line.

• Select the email and hit CTRL-U to view the message source. Copy the "From:..." line here.

My Telefragged account gets hammered with spam.  Currently at 300 since I last checked yesterday in the mid-afternoon.  I read none of it, it all gets deleted, and the idiots who send it think they are doing some kind of service to themselves...well they aren't...and spammers are amongst the very few who I wish I could take a tactical nuke to.

I get often that hellish fake Microsoft e-mails containing viruses...

i only get a few spam messages every couple of days... Comcast does a good job filtering out most of the bad messages.

What I'm trying to do is find out how many spammers fake their "From:..." address. In other words, if a spam mail arrives at a bad email account or whatever and gets bounced back, what % of spammers see the bounceback?

I don't get spam, I get adware....and ad-aware and spybot can get it. But it always comes back...

I used to get so much spam it wasn't even funny. I could've refinanced my home fourteen times and counting, ordered Viagra until it was coming out of ears (not too much the other spot), or seen what 29-YO MLIF Kara was going to do with her 19-YO college co-ed roommate.

That is why, ladies and germs, I have a bulk mailbox...

The one thing I like about AOL... The report spam/Noify AOL button... Sends the address of the email in question to the AOL email screeners, and then to the AOL mail routing... Anything from those addresses are halted before they reach any users...
