(weird how all there (cnn) stories are related to the Iraq war being irrelivent to this, rather than focusing on the event by it's self, no "libya gives up WMDs", it's all "Gadhafi's son: Iraq conflict irrelevant to WMD offer")

I'm actually surprised that more news agencies haven't brought up the Iraq angle. Its nice to know that another little guy is voluntarily giving up WMDs and WMD research, but its a shame the big players won't don't the same.

Well, basically Gaddhafi bought Saddam's old gas warheads, and now he's "dropping" WMD in order to gain international credit...
Basically he learnt how to use Bush at his own advantage...

We all know Iraq is not irrelevant to this.

We all know this thread title made us all think of a poorly translated game before realising what was being discussed.
Anyway this is good. right?

Beowulf, we don't know it, but it does seem fairly likely that Libya is shying away from WMD's because it's a small power without much of a military... and we all know what the USA does to defenceless countries it suspects of WMD's, don't we?

Yep, it damn well goes in and helps their suicide troopers reach Paradise. God bless America.

Exactly. They maintain their neutrality by making every man keep and train with a Steyr.

I wonder if Swiss people have an affinity with swiss army knives, kinda in the same way a Samurai has an affinity with his sword or a small child has an affinity with annoying the crap outta me.
