Here is something i had let die a long time ago, and now seeing as its that festive holiday type thing and i have some time spare i thought i would have a crack at finishing it off.
This is the beginings of a cover for an anti war CD which im doing for a project at college. Basically after putting it on the back burner some noths ago it evolved from this ...

(there was 3 versions of it, red, green and the one above. Also the names 'morbid angel' and 'fight music' were simple place holderswhichnever got changed.)
to this ...

At this point i have a basic idea at what im aiming for, but its not quite owkring, the tank for the moment is a place holder for a piece that is currently being worked up in my sketch book, but it gives you the basic idea of whats being planned.
Now any comments are welcome, and yes there will be a back and cd label as well, infact there will be alot more cause its not a standard CD case. Also i need a little help for a track list.
So people tell me what you think and advice on how to change/improve it, i have a few of my own and i'll test them out later.

I think a generic flag (with no country in particular) in the top right corner, waving off of the tank's antennae thingy would pull it together.

Something about "A Compilation Dedicated to Those Lost in the War Effort" sounds more pro-war then anti-war.
Similarly 'Fight Music' does sound a bit pro-war, something more hippy-happy like 'The War on Ignorance' or somesuch might work better.

I suppose there's no chance of calling it 'America Bashers Sing For Their Supper?'

HAHAHAHAHA:lol:
Really, good work on the graphics if not the theme. ;)

i like the second one better. the colours work well.
just a thought, if you unfocus everything in the second one except for the black bits so its all a blur and the black bits are sharp, what would that look like?

it blows my mind how people put so much work into something that can only have a negative effect.

yeah cheers for that

No insult intended, but your art made me think of this.

mm... not exactly what i had in mind, but it doesn't really work out, anyway. the unblurred version is better.
what im thinking is that the shapes dont really tie together, they're disjointed, unharmonised. of course, that might just be because of the weird looking tank.

I prefer this:

as i said the tank is a place holder for some thing else
