does this person have the right build and settings, etc

There's been a quite some people having problems with the shinemaps... AFAIK they all had Radeon 9000 based vid cards...

Yeah...I have a 9000 Pro in my AGP slot. Specular doesn't work at all in the tech room, but in-game, if there's a colored sun you'll get some.

origionally there was the 9x00 SERIES but no card specifically labeled 9000
when did the 9000 get made

Dunno. It's funny that the 9500 is discontinued...

i bought the dam thing a year ago. It cost like $130. The R. 9500 were *just* released.

ditto, got mine for Christmas. I think the 9500 or 9600 were the l33t things to get.
So, enough arguing over whether it exists or not, can the specular bug be fixed?

Kazan, there is a Radeon 9000 BOARD. Specifically a 9000. I used to have one, before it got fried by a power surge.
