Title: Slow main page

The main page is incredibly slow for me. It takes about 13 seconds to appear, but the main forum page only takes about 1 second to completely load. Why the long loading times? :confused:

Its the same for everyone.... The main 3dap server has a ton of **** on it....

same here. Is it just the browser parsing the ****loads of code in the HLP site?

It does need some work done on it - but I think we're aware of this. If anyone has any suggestions... well you can view the source code for yourselves so I imagine it'd be helpful if you had any bright ideas for speeding things up.

It's not the HTML code at all, sorry. It's the gazillion SQL querys that the page runs to fetch the content. Styxx needs to go through and optimize all the MySQL query code he wrote to make it more efficient.
