Title: My first render (made with FRED!)

Now, I know its not the best you people have seen, but it was done only with FRED and Paint... I started as a simple logo for AHTW (//www.sectorgame.com/ahtw)... by noon today I had realised how complex I could make it, so I added the warping in Cain, the two Nepheilms, the explosion and the sun... And this was the result:

Comments? Feedback? Stares of astonishment knowing I used nothing but FRED and Paint? :p

How could you do the explosion and warp effects with FRED?

I took a screenshot of it in VPView, then pasted it into another Paint, then selected the part i wanted, and put it on top of the orion... Same with the Warping Cain, only i streched the warp effect taller to make it look angled...


There are actually 9 ships in there... A cookie to those who can count them... I'll tell you that there are two escape pods leaving the orion, and are about at the middle of the nameplate (a little above)... but that still leaves 7 others... COOKIES!!! ;) :D

Too grainy to make anything out...

1 demon
1 orion
2 'things'(guessing basalisks, probably not...) - just to the bottom left of the back of the Orion
1 Unidentified Flying Object(Ursa? pfft.) - just above and to the left of the subspace node

The two near the explosion are Nepheilmns, and the one above the the warp effect, is an Azrael...
