And another... if anyone has any especially impressive images perhaps they could post them here and later the cream of them could be used to further pimp what you guys are doing :)

Who let frying pans into our Freespace engine?! ;)

Not bad. AA would help though. :D

Not me, that's for sure :p
But please notice that I never made any negative comments about those meshes since they've poped up out of nowhere a couple weeks ago :p
Self control... zen...

AA doesnt help. It kinda blurs too much making details go slobby, and it messes up all text displayed.

In the current FS engine, AA is only a pain and performance drain without any visual quality gain.

I disagree, AA makes things look more realistic, and when you'v got lots of thin lines (as per the necels on the enterprise there) it makes sevral worlds of diference.

Apply the GeForce4 fix in the launcher and that problem should go away. :)

It looks weird. I apply the GeforceFix. It looks okay. I turn on AA. It looks weird.

I can't help but think you've gone nuts. :) What type of AA do you use? I use the hardware FSAA supported by my GF4MX, and it looks crisp and clear.

I use 4x hardware FSAA on my 9800 and it looks great. The fonts look fine to me. Used to use the application controlled AA through the launcher and that looked fine too. Changed cause the launcher won't let me go above 2x AA. (used to go above that on my GF4MX... hmm.)

I think it's been proven many times that the SCP build s very unstable depending on the machine. What works fine on some PC will not work at all on another one.
